Scholarship Opportunity from ACSSS

Dear student,

Are you a returning adult, single parent, or other nontraditional student? Do you have at least one year left in your UW-Madison degree program, or will be admitted to a UW-Madison undergraduate, graduate or professional degree program for 2021-2022 academic year by February 10, 2021? If so, you may be eligible for a scholarship specifically for nontraditional, adult and single parent students!

Winter break is the perfect time to apply for scholarships. The UW-Madison, Division of Continuing Studies, Adult Career and Special Student Services (ACSSS) office awards more than 30 scholarships to students annually, ranging from $1,000 to $5,000. You could be among them! Please visit our website<https://acsss.wisc.edu/scholarships/> to review scholarship eligibility requirements, tips for applying and to read about the 2020-2021 scholarship recipients.

The application deadline for the 2021-2022 scholarship competition is February 10, 2021. Apply through the Wisconsin Scholarship Hub (WiSH)<https://wisc.academicworks.com/> using your NetID and password. In WiSH, make sure to complete the general application and/or search under Show Filters>Organizations>Division of Continuing Studies apply to Scholarships for Nontraditional, Adult, & Single Parent Students. The application can also be found in WiSH under ‘Our Opportunities’, enter “Scholarships for Nontraditional, Adult, & Single Parent Students” into the ‘Search by Keyword’ field. By completing this one Scholarships for Nontraditional, Adult, & Single Parent Students application, you will be considered for all scholarships available under this category. Scholarship recipients will be notified in mid to late March and be awarded for fall 2021-spring 2022.
