The Student Services team is dedicated to developing, implementing, and providing relevant information, strategies, and connections to individual offices across the university, and offering support for professional students obtaining their degree at a distance.

The Student Services team values and recognizes the unique needs of working engineers studying at a distance and the unique personal and professional needs of each of our students. We strive to keep current on policies and procedures across varying campus offices, in order to provide timely, relevant, and actionable information and connections to campus offices that give personal and educational value to our students. Our primary goal is to limit the amount of time our students spend on administrative tasks and navigating the bureaucratic structure, so the majority of time is spent where it matters most—engaging with peers and instructors in coursework. In so doing, we hope to play a part in fostering student success and ensuring that each student receives the quality educational experience they deserve and expect.

The Student Services team coordinates a variety of academic and non-academic administrative tasks and acts as an advocate for students within the Office of Engineering Professional Development, College of Engineering, and University of Wisconsin–Madison campus community. Student Services provides assistance to students from the time they apply through graduation and beyond, assisting students in activities including admissions, registration, financial aid, tuition payment, academic progress, graduation, and assistance working with a wide variety of campus offices and services.
