Come and join us in celebrating the accomplishments of our winter, spring, and summer graduates. This event provides a wonderful opportunity for you and your family to come together, capture memorable moments through photos, engage in an alumni spotlight interview, enjoy refreshments and snacks, and unwind.

College of Engineering Graduate Recognition Event
The College of Engineering Graduate Recognition Event is a formal event where graduating engineers at all levels will march across the stage in the company of their peers, have their name read, shake hands with college and department or program leaders, receive their diploma cover, and have a graduation photo taken.

Date & Time: Saturday, May 9, 2026. Doors open at 4:00pm, the event begins at 5:00pm.
Graduates: you must register by April 10 if want your name to appear in the printed program. Registrations after that date may not appear in the program. If you have difficulty registering, please make sure you are logged into your UW Google account. You may also contact us.
University Wide Commencement
UW–Madison Commencement is a celebration of our graduates’ achievements, bringing together university leadership, student voices, a keynote speaker, and the official conferral of degrees by school and college. .
